About me: I have always been related to the sport. Since I was a child I played almost every single one: Soccer, Rugby, Tennis, Swimming, Basketball, Volleyball, Mountain bike, etc. When I immigrated to Canada I tried Triathlon and since then I was completely hooked; even thought, my first race experience was terrible. See my most catastrophic racing experience down below.
Sports: Soccer, Rugby, Snowboarding, Triathlon
Athletic Accomplishments: 2007 Angus Glen 10K run, First in the age category
Athletic goals: To improve my times and to be within top 5 in my AG for some of the Subaru's and HSBC's races.
My most catastrophic racing experience was: The 2006 Muskoka Sprint Tri. The damn rented wetsuit plus my anxiety couldn't let me breath, my chest wouldn't expand; I was in the middle of the water trying to catch same air, floating between competitors' elbows and kicking feet thinking about dropping the race or just get ride of the wetsuit, if a could. Fortunately, and don't ask me how, I just relax and my chest started to rise and started to breath.
My most memorable racing experience was: My most memorable race experience was Wasaga Beach Olympic Triathlon 2007, race goal for the Leukemia Society Team in Training, which I joined to honor my friend's daughter, Ava Caron. Being able to help while doing what I love, definitely, was a memorable experience.
